Crock Pot Roast

1 rump or pot roast
2 potatoes, peeled and quartered
3 carrots, peeled and halved
1 small onion, sliced
salt / pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 c. water

Place veggies in bottom of crock pot. Season to taste and drop in bay leaf. Add water. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 5 hours. Serves 4
